Membes introduces a simpler way to pay your invoices

The Membes team is pleased to announce today’s launch of new processes that will save time and make it easier for customers to manage and pay Membes invoices.

Instead of receiving monthly invoices and statements from Xero, customers will now have greater choice and be able to access information, make payments and complete associated tasks by simply logging in to their Membes AMS. 

What’s new?

  • Customers can now store a preferred credit card and enjoy the ‘set and forget’ convenience of automatic monthly invoice payments. A notification is issued on the first business day of the month advising that an invoice is available, and that the stored credit card will be debited within the next 48 hours.
  • Manual payment on receipt of invoice is also available if this option is preferred.
  • Customers can log in and view all invoices and invoice status at any time.
  • You can easily manage payment information and update details when required.
  • Previous invoices can be downloaded rather than waiting for a statement.
  • SMS credits can be purchased more easily. Customers no longer need to submit a Membes Help Desk ticket. Simply log in to Membes AMS and purchase SMS credits at any time. The costs are added to your monthly invoice.

How it works

The new functionality now available via the Membes interface is highly intuitive and easy to navigate. Following is a summary of how to complete some common tasks, and you can also find all the steps explained in detail in the Membes User Guide:

  • Login to Membes AMS Admin.
  • Click the ‘User’ icon (at top right).
  • Select ‘Billing’ to view your invoices.
  • View ‘Invoice status’ - you’ll see unpaid invoices shown in red.
  • Click ‘Actions’ (at right) to:
    • ‘View invoice’ – it will open in a new tab or window
    • ‘Pay invoice’
    • ‘Manage payment methods’ – here you can select ‘pay on invoice’ or set up automatic payments and store your preferred credit card
  • To purchase credits:
    • Simply select ‘Purchase credits’ from the Account menu (at top right)
    • Select credit type e.g. SMS
    • Select number of credits
    • Select payment method – choose stored credit card if applicable or enter alternate card details.
